This work is inspired by the loris, a species of primate from South- Eastern Asia. This nocturnal hunter moves with great agility through trees to catch its insect prey. It is also an endangered species due to illegal trading as a popular wild pet. This is in spite of the fact that the loris is venomous, the only venomous primate in the world! Using both “restless” and “calm” motives, this work attempts to reflect how the loris moves about in trees while hunting and resting.
